MAYBE | Adjustable Sterling Silver | After Eleven

It started without a plan.

No sketch. No decision. Just a piece of silver and an open question.

Maybe a simple band. Maybe wider. Maybe thinner. Closed. Open. Something else entirely.

The answer came slowly, the way good things do.

Cool sterling silver against the skin. A wide band that tapers gently toward the back, so it sits lighter than it looks. Six granules fused by hand, each one placed where instinct said to place it.

This is not a ring that demands a decision.

It adjusts. It moves between fingers. It fits the version of you that exists today, and the one you haven't met yet.

The opening is not a flaw. It's the point.

I learned to design around imperfection instead of fighting it. Adjustable rings came from a practical need. Hitting an exact size while soldering is harder than the design itself. So the gap became part of the sculpture, not something to hide.

And then I realized: the most comfortable rings are rarely the most rigid ones.

MAYBE narrows at the back so it feels weightless on the finger. Because statement jewelry should make an impression. Not leave one on your skin.

Why “Maybe”?

Because not every decision has to be permanent.

Maybe today’s index finger becomes tomorrow’s middle finger. Maybe a ring doesn’t need to fit only one size, or only one idea.

Sometimes leaving space is exactly what makes something beautiful.

Maybe everything turned out exactly as it should.
